AQUALIC™ CS are salt-tolerant and water-absorbing polymers that are mainly used in civil engineering.
These polymers maintain stable water absorption even in water containing high levels of electrolytes, such as seawater.

Features and Properties

Excellent absorption of groundwater and seawater

The amount of water absorbed by general water-absorbing polymers decreases in seawater and other such aqueous solutions with a high saline concentration and in polyvalent metal salt aqueous solutions; however, AQUALIC™ CS polymers maintain their water-absorption amounts in such aqueous solutions.
