Product Information at CEATEC 2024 ---------The exhibition ended with success! ------------
We Introduce our Unique Products for Advanced Display Device Technology!
CEATEC 2024 will be held under the theme of “Innovation for All,” bringing together people from various industries, technologies, and fields of information to create a future through “co-creation,” with the aim of realizing Society 5.0, which seeks to achieve both economic development and solutions to social issues.
At Nippon Shokubai, we aim to provide materials and solutions that meet the evolving needs of both people and society as part of our vision for the future. We are committed to transforming ourselves to be more environmentally friendly. One of our core strengths lies in our research and development capabilities in chemical materials, built upon the extensive expertise we’ve developed as a chemical manufacturer. At our company booth, we will showcase a variety of chemical materials organized around four key themes that address current market demands.
Exhibiting Products
High Visibility
Smart glasses are attracting attention in anticipation of market expansion. The high refractive index and transparency of ZIRCOSTAR™ enable the wide viewing angle of smart glasses, contributing to higher performance.
ACRYVIEWA™ is optical resin with excellent heat resistance and durability, contributing to the miniaturization and higher brightness required for head-up displays (HUD).
【Exhibited Products】
Dispersion of zirconia nanoparticles : ZIRCOSTAR™
Acrylic resins for optical films : ACRYVIEWA™
Energy Saving
ZIRCOSTAR™, a highly refractive index material, is expected to lead to energy-saving design of products. It contributes to higher brightness and energy conservation by improving light extraction from displays.
Also introduced is a low-temperature curing Polymers for resist compositions (ACRYCURE™) that can be cured at low temperatures during the manufacturing process. We will present the videos showing comparisons with conventional resins.

High refractive index resin (in development)
Polymers for resist compositions (ACRYCURE™, in development)
Light & Thin
Digital devices need to be thinner and lighter. The iOLED™, which is a film light source thinner than paper (approximately 0.1 mm), contributes to thinness and space saving with its excellent design.
We also introduce spherical silica particles (SEAHOSTAR™), which are high-purity and uniform particle size fillers. Because of these characteristics, this product can contribute to the high integration of semiconductors and realize higher performance and smaller size.

Perfectly spherical, fine particles of silica : SEAHOSTAR™
Flexibility
Flexible devices are expected to be next-generation devices. They require both flexibility and strength.
The monomer AOMA™, which contributes to enhancing display functionality, plays a key role as a material that combines “hardness and heat resistance” with “flexibility and toughness.” In addition to a section featuring a video introduction of AOMA™, we will be exhibiting BF Film, which can be used in foldable displays, for the first time.
