Dispersion of Zirconia Nanoparticles : ZIRCOSTAR™ High Refractive Index Nanoparticles

Features and Properties

Zirconia nanoparticles exhibiting stable dispersion in various organic solvents, developed using Nippon Shokubai’s proprietary technology. Suitable for molding and coating materials requiring high transparency and a high refractive index.

  • Good dispersibility in various organic solvents
Examples: Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), Propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate (PGMEA)
  • Good compatibility with UV curable acrylic resins and monomers
Examples: Benzyl acrylate, Isobornyl acrylate, Isobornyl methacrylate, N-vinylpyrrolidone, AOMA™, VEEA™, VEEM™
  • High solid content
    Example: 80 wt%
