Notice to stop the old facilities of superabsorbent polymers

Due to an difficult and challenging market situation and a cost structure, some of our superabsorbent polymer production lines with a total capacity of 60kt/year which are lower productivity lines are no longer available in Japan and Belgium. We will expand the same capacity in our existing production lines equipped with a higher effective production technology by debottlenecking as planned, depending on the market demand situation.
