Synthetic Polymer Wax (Emulsion Type): ST200 Synthetic polymer wax

Basic Information

ST200 is an acrylic wax emulsion with excellent mixing stability, which Nippon Shokubai has developed using our proprietary polymerization technology. It can be used in the same way as conventional wax emulsions.
The polymers obtained from drying ST200 basically have similar properties as ST100, including good affinity to solvents, and hard wax properties with no sticky sensation.
Similar to ST100, ST200 has sharp thermal responsiveness; however, as it has an extremely high molecular weight, when ST200 is melted and dissolved by heat or solvents, it becomes a transparent gel with little fluidity.
