Medium-Term RC Basic Plan 2027 (FY2025–FY2027) and FY2025 Results
Amid changing circumstances surrounding Nippon Shokubai, the Medium-Term RC Basic Plan 2027 has been formulated with the aim of steadily advancing our materiality (material issues) —“Promotion of safe and stable production activities” and “Promotion of initiatives for Environment“—and promoting the “Three transformations” toward the long-term vision “TechnoAmenity for the future,” through more efficient and continuous improvements in each RC field.

- Class A: If the target of “reducing the five-year average energy consumption intensity or the five-year average electricity demand optimization evaluation intensity by 1% or more per year” has not been achieved, and the intensity has not increased year-on-year for the last two consecutive years, or the five-year average intensity has not increased by 5%.
- Zero emissions: Reducing the quantity of waste subject to final disposal at off-site landfills to 0.1% or less of the total amount of waste generated. (quantity of final off-site landfill) ≤ (total amount of waste generated x 0.1%).
- PRTR Law: Act on the Assessment of Releases of Specified Chemical Substances in the Environment and the Promotion of Management Improvement.
- Including a carbon credit offset of 4.5% due to the purchase of carbon-offset city gas.
